A friend of ours owns a saddle repair shop... he had all of these old saddle straps and hated to just throw them away. I found a repurposed way to use them and give them out as gifts. I used leather strips to thread the bells and tie them off. They can be hung on the door and rung by visitors by shaking them. :)
Floating TeaCups
It's been a while since I posted, I have been busy creating different things. Here are the floating teacups my grandkids are making for Christmas gifts for their moms. Something you can put on a night stand or table center piece for year round. I would like to make myself one using a Christmas teacup set. I will post my floating teacup as soon as I find a teacup set for Christmas. These are all over Pinterest... I used a fork and for the glue I used a 4 minute drying Epoxy glue and it worked out fine.

One Stroke Painting
I can't draw to save my life, but I've learned I don't have to... I can paint. I picked up a book with basic strokes and gave it a whirl.

Childhood memories..
How many of you remember this glue? I used to love that it had a plastic applier, like a brush. I remember they made the container in animal shapes too.
From the same company... really cool , I used this glue too.

My children...
I never craft for myself but today, Mother's day, I did. Pictures are of my children. The vase, tray, and baby shoes were my junket find today.

Collage
I took an old Victorian calendar and cut all the wonderful pictures out of it. My niece had an old suit case she was looking to revamp. I used glue to adhere the pictures collage style.
