Lamp shade
Here in s a shade I put together using an old McCall's pattern. Then my dh and son bought a lamp for Valentines. The shade was perfect for the new lamp.
My grandmother used to sit and make quilts by hand. My grandmother meant alot to me. I also have an aunt who sewed all the time. She used to make clothes for me, and she sewed ball gowns and such for nearly anyone in the family. My aunt meant alot to me also. Perhaps that's why even though I don't sew, the craft is very dear to me.
